What a great stay for lots of hard work. So comfortable, better than an upscale hotel, roomy and so home-like!
Our stay at Fernwood was excellent. The facilities were as advertised and the host, Alexandra was charming, helpful and very attentive. In fact I left a favorite T-shirt in the washer and she tracked it down and had the party who had taken it mail it to me immediately. If an opportunity presents itself I will definitely stay at Fernwood again.
I recently stayed at this guest house for Mom’s weekend at OSU. It was an amazing place to stay in a quiet neighborhood. It is newly opened and has been remodeled in excellent taste. The beds were amazingly comfortable, the shower had great water pressure and it was immaculate. There was a fresh oatmeal bar, fresh baked banana bread, good coffee, fresh juices and condiments in the fridge and a full well stocked kitchen with supplies. The deck over looks a beautiful neighbors back yard with beautiful flowers. The house is very secure with key code boxes on every guest door and the front door. I stayed in the Sage room which has it’s own private bath. This place is a gem, way better than any overpriced holiday weekend hotel in Corvallis by far!
Thanks for a very peaceful and comfortable home away from home!
It is a lovely house! The Sage room and bed are very comfortable. Enjoyed using the kitchen. Everything was very clean and organized. Thanks for a nice stay!
Thanks for the great accommodations! Loved the view of the changing trees, the coffee and wonderful cozy room.
For a last minute decision to stay in Corvallis, I was very lucky to find this lovely home. I had had the upstairs all to myself and enjoyed the quiet time to have a lovely dinner and breakfast before heading home. I was treated to a site of a mother deer and her fawn strolling the neighborhood while cleaning my dishes.

I stayed here with my mom when we traveled all the way from Texas to go see the vet school at OSU, which I decided to attend this fall! The owner is extremely friendly and tends to your every need. She even offered to take pictures of places for me to live at during my apartment search from Texas. What a sweet lady. The rooms were clean, and the house had such a cozy feeling. I felt right at home. I loved getting up in the morning, putting my robe on that she provided, and having a coffee while I sat in the living room. Definitely worth staying here a couple nights!
Wonderful, beautiful home!
Lots of room, full of everything you need.
We look forward to coming back!
Thank you for a lovely stay in this well=run, clean and quiet house.
I will definitely be back.
All the best!
