If you are looking for a home away from home, you can’t go wrong with Birdie Drive. This two-bedroom, three-bathroom home also features a home office, full kitchen, and comfortable sitting areas.
Free on-site parking fits up to three cars. The fenced yard offers you a private outdoor space to relax in the garden or grill on a nice day. Since this home is in a real residential neighborhood, you can enjoy a serene community feeling.
A Cozy and Comfortable Home
The crisp, bright light-colored décor amplifies natural light. Combined with high ceilings and open plan design the home has an airy feel.
With both a living room and a sitting room you have plenty of space to relax or socialize. The living room features quality leather furnishings, and a wall mounted flat screen TV which is perfect for streaming movies or your favorite show.
The sitting room is super cozy with a gas fireplace and a tuned family-style wood piano. If you have any piano players in your party will enjoy practicing in a comfortable environment.
If you need to keep up with work or hop on a Zoom call, the home has a dedicated office and high-speed Wi-Fi.
A Full Kitchen and Laundry
One difference between staying in a guest house like ours and a hotel is the comforts of home. Birdie Drive has a full kitchen with new appliances. Whether you need to heat up your leftovers, whip up a quick meal, or prepare a gourmet meal the kitchen provides the space and equipment you need.
Enjoy your meal either in the cozy breakfast nook or the dining area.
The home also has a home-style washing machine and dryer, so you don’t have to waste time going to a laundromat. Soap is provided!
Two Bedrooms, Three Bathrooms
The three well-appointed bedrooms each have a queen-sized bed with premium bed linens and mattresses. We want to do what we can to ensure you get restful sleep after your day of adventures or work.
The beds are furnished with durable, quality furniture including Oregon’s own Woodcastle Forever Furniture in a couple of the rooms.
With three bathrooms you also won’t need to wait for the shower!
Private Fenced Garden and Yard
On a nice day, you may want to go outside. Birdie Drive has a private, fenced yard with a charming little garden. It’s a great place to relax and collect your thoughts, read, or play.
The yard also includes an outdoor grill to cook treats you find at the local grocery store, farmer’s market, or an excursion to the Oregon Coast (just an easy, scenic drive away!)
Easy Access to Local Businesses and Attractions
With its convenient Southwest Corvallis location, the Birdie Drive vacation rental is a five minute drive away from Downtown Corvallis, Oregon State University, and close to Sunset Research park.
It’s also a short device to The Corvallis Club where Fernwood Circle Guest Houses, bnb, and short-stay guests enjoy golfing privileges at The Corvallis Club which is the local private PGA golf course. Contact Alexandra to make arrangements in advance.
In addition, it is close to local parks including Avery Park, Starker Arts Park, and others for casual hiking, walking, biking, and other recreational activities. Corvallis is home to a network of multi-use bike trails making it easy for cyclists to get around.
With a five-minute drive to Oregon State University, it is the perfect short-stay accommodation for OSU parents during graduation, OSU Parents Weekend, and Pac 12 football games and other sporting events.
Rate Details for Short-Stays (2-14 nights):
The rate for 4-guests, including children of all ages, using two bedrooms, is $299 for up to 4-people maximum capacity.
The housekeeping rate is subject to change ($229 - $299) depending on number of guests and length of stay.
Pet-Friendly Requirements:
One small-breed kennel trained dog per stay allowed. No dogs on the beds or furniture, please.
We do not accepts cats.
A per night pet fee applys and the cleaning fee is a minimum of $249 because our housekeeping crew does a post stay deep cleaning after a pet-saty.
Cancellation Policy for Short-term Rentals (2-14 nights)
Cancellation/Reservation Change and Refunds:
Rates will not fluctuate when some guests stay fewer days than other guests.
Standard Season ( October - April) partial refund available until 14-days before arrival
Peak Season: refund available until 45 days before arrival (May 1 – Sept 30) - (depending on the below mentioned OSU event weekends)
Note that we understand that life happens and cancellation does happen. And as a small business we cannot afford to pay for changes that occur for our incoming guests.
When lodging payments are done via credit card, a merchant fee is charged to the business. We incur a credit card processing fee to our small business when a guest makes a reservation and pays with a credit card. We absorb that as part of doing business.
When cancellation occurs, within the cancellation time window, all rental payments will be forfeited, unless the space is re-rented.
If the property you rented is re-booked for the same period and rate, a full refund (less $250 cancellation fee) will be made. If a portion of your time is re-booked, a pro-rated portion of the rental payments will be refunded (less $150-$250 cancellation fee).
Security Deposit:
Fourteen days before arrival a security deposit may be captured.
The security deposit range is $950- $1,500 depending on the number of guests and length of stay.
